When a speaker includes other with himself, he uses we. This is the first person of the plural number.

The police are actors; just ask are you acting as a law enforcer or a piece officer, done deal actors need lines. Someone has to put a complain in writing and present it to the courts. The police can't write your name in all capital letters it is a CAPITAL offense.
