Cheque Centre, Payday Loans and Sheriff Courts

Postby pedro » Mon Aug 24, 2009 4:16 pm

In my unlightened and stupid days before i learned the 'truth' i took a 'payday advance' from this company because i was quite frankly skint. After educating myself and much to-ing and fro-ing they took me to small claims court in scotland and the sheriff ruled in their favour, in my absence. I stupidly offered £20 a month to pay it off hoping they wouldn't accept it so to give me more time. But they have and now the Extract for Payment says; Sum decerned £805.86, interest at 8% annually from 19th March 2009 and expenses of £60 against the defender. Any idea how i could deal with this? I wish i got the summons through the door today, then i would know how to deal with it! Thanks and peace to you all.
