About to pay the Mortgage off, advice to friend

If you had a £25,000 mortgage (for instance)

and you had £25,000 to hand

But, you knew about the banking scam and at least wanted to prove a point, How would You go about throwing spanners into their works?

I ask it here first because I think V has one of the most common sense brains out their, and the Freedom book (http://freedom.fmotl.com/) is as fresh today as it was when it was written

I have been a casual Law researchers for 4 years, and have a few ideas, but I am just wanting to know how you would tackle the situation which I don't believe comes up too regularly

sometimes, when we have nothing to loose, we can find out the most, and become the shoulders for giants

Whilst there any number of approaches you might take in order to discover the 'truth' regarding these alleged 'loans' none are totally without risk. Remember, if you do begin 'legal' proceedings and should, ultimately, 'fail' - you would be left with the opponent's legal bills to pay.
Having said that, kudos for having the courage, like many others, to make a stand in order to try and ascertain what actually goes on behind closed doors in order to 'create a mortgage'.
I highly recommend watching any/all of 'Si the Spaniard's' youtube offerings. This may give you greater insight/ideas as to where to start your questioning....

Hi g, I think you might get some further pointers by having a good explore on http://freetheplanet.net/ too. Michael has been working hard on investigating the mortgage scam too, in addition to researching the possibility of a class action in the matter.

Cheers for the replies, wise words

I have studied all of Si's offerings as well as Freetheplanet and have met them both.

I have the deepest respect for what they are doing, and am currently involved in a medium claim myself, so I know the massive amount of work and knowledge it takes (and I'm struggling)

This may not be my fight, but it seems a shame to waste the opportunity.

I do have many other things to test out once the house is owned outright, so it's not as if i'm giving up the fight, but I know i'll kick myself later.

if Si or MoB get a result then the gates will be open on that one.

all the best

Wondering now, if you could pay it off and then ask for something in return, as per the bills of lading etc.

What can they not produce?

any ideas?
