Hello. I have been summoned to magistrates court by Lincoln council trading standards for the most petty, officious nit picking offences of incorrectly labelled products. They were missing an address, that's all. If I attend will i then have acknowledged the legal fiction. If I rebut the summons then is that the same? What might happen if i ignored them altogether. Has anyone hard of a clamping order for unpaid fines? this concerns me as my van is all i own and I live in it. Would you fight the case on common law principles? What would you do? I would love to hear what you would do to give me some ideas as to how to proceed. Thank you in advance. MM54321 xx
