Greetings

Unfortunately we seem to have lost dreadlock......hope he's OK.

Just a quick update on the V5's status as some sort of trust arrangement. i've yet to find anything that really contradicts my earlier posts on the subject, but i have found further corroboration.

i was watching a video on trusts and somebody pointed out that although a legal-title holder may be allowed use of trust property it is not a given, it is subject to permission and conditions.

So if you think you are enjoying 'equitable' use of your 'vehicle' you may need to re-think. The V5 is legal title - if you are the holder of that then the 'family' (yup!) you 'belong' to is the recipient of any equity.

The clincher is that you need permission evidenced by various legal documents to use the vehicle, with conditions attached.....

.......and it says right on the front of the V5C that 'you' are the Trustee in this relationship.
