Operating Jurisdiction of Magistrates Courts in the UK

Hi,

Would like to know under what Jurisdiction do Magistrate Courts in the United Kingdom Operate. Will a magistrate answer the question if asked? Would they ever say "Statutory Jurisdiction?"

Trying to get broader understanding of the court here in the United Kingdom.

If one does decide to go down the route of claiming common law jurisdiction while in magistrate court, is this acceptable or tolerated, can the injured party come forward? there never has or ever been an injured party in speeding offence PCN etc.

Any information would be helpful.

Magistrate Courts in the United Kingdom operate under CONSENT ONLY! They are not a properly constituted court as they have no jury and require you to consent to their persecution of your 'legal person'.
